During the summer months, the population increases from 15,000 to 45,000 thanks to tourism. It is an island with many hiking trails and cycle paths in a fantastic nature surrounded by cliffs, meadows and sea.
The capital of Tjörn is Skärhamn. Here you can visit, among other things, the Nordic Watercolour Museum.
It is difficult not to be enchanted by Bohuslän’s unique nature and magnificent and unique archipelago.
Here it is the coast, sea and salty splashes that apply with the bare granite cliffs and fishing communities that, like a string of pearls, tower along the coast.
